Have you heard about Marie Greene’s Gansey Knitalong starting on January 1st? You buy the pattern and Marie (aka Olive Knits) will send you eight weekly tutorials on how to make it! (You have until February 1st to join in.)
Knitters will learn how to knit a traditional seamless gansey sweater during Marie Greene’s 8-week online workshop. Swatching begins the first week of January, casting on by January 7th. The workshop ends the week of February 18th.
Marie Greene’s workshop will include tutorials (photo/video) and additional resources which will arrive via email each Monday during the KAL period. Marie’s extra tools will walk knitters through special techniques (like underarm gussets, shoulder gussets and Russian grafting). Click here for details.
We saw the swatch that Lorajean made with Knitted Wit DK and knew that a bunch of you were going to want to use that so we ordered some.
Click here to order online. Or stop by the shop to see the beautiful colors. We only ordered enough for one sweater out of each color. So if you order online, please give us your second choice as well, if you have one.
We have ten classic sweater colors that will show off the cables.
