I love playing with yarn combinations and usually end up with something different than I expected. In this case, the Kidsilk Trio gives the scarf a little sheen and softness. The Manos contributes beautiful hand dyed color and organic texture.
Finished Size: approximately 4.5” x 72”
1 skein Kidsilk Trio and 1 skein Manos, both strands held together
US #17 (use #19 for a wider scarf)
Note: The first stitch of every row is slipped so that the edge blends in with the stitch pattern.
Cast on 15 stitches (or any odd number)
Row 1: slip one as if to knit with yarn in back *P1, K1* repeat ** until end of row.
Row 2: slip one as if to purl with yarn in front *K1, P1 * repeat ** until end of row.
Repeat these rows until your scarf is 6 feet (or desired length).
Bind off in pattern.
Cut remaining yarn into 19” lengths for fringe. (I wrapped the yarn around the longer side of my iPad and cut one edge.)
