Prerequisite: Knit 102 or equivalent experience and experience with DPNs
Learn:
knitting on double pointed needles, heal flap, turning the heel, picking up stitches, kitchener’s stitch
Materials:
Churchmouse sock pattern, 2 skeins Pediboo(or equivalent DK yarn), two sets of size 3 DPNs (so you can have two socks going at once). If you are very comfortable with DPNs you can use 100 grams of sock yarn and size 1 or 2 DPNs
Cost

Prerequisites: Must have made at least one pair of socks (toe-up or top-down) in fingering weight yarn

Materials: about 440 yards of fingering weight yarn (two skeins of CoBaSi were used in sample), needles to get gauge of 8.5 stitches per inch (US size 1.5 or 2 recommended). Can use double points, two circulars, or one long circular.

Need some ideas? Try these:

Chunky Cable Hat: two 1.5-hour sessions
Baby Sweater: three 1.5-hour sessions
Mittens: two 2-hour sessions
Learn to Crochet: two 2-hour sessions

This is a great option for kids’ classes:

Kids (age 10–12) Learn to Knit:three 1.5 hour sessions
Parent/Child (ages 8 – 12) Learn to Knit:

Our Registration Policy:

All classes are held at String Theory Yarn Co. Most classes are limited to 8 people in order to ensure that everyone gets individual attention. Payment for each class is due at registration. If String Theory cancels the class for any reason, we will refund your registration fee.  If you cancel at least one week prior to your scheduled class, you will receive a store credit for your registration fee. If you cancel less than a week prior to the class, you will receive store credit only if we are able to fill your spot.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide make-ups.
