January 2, 2012Hi String Theory!
I am so bummed I am going to be missing this class because I actually just purchased this pattern and am excited to start this! My question is: What are you doing with the front? Are you sticking to the pattern as written or are you doing one of the “customize it” options mentioned in the pattern?
I can’t wait to see your finished product
Janet
January 5, 2012Lisa worked the pattern as written, since she liked the look, and being able to tuck one end under at the neck for a bit more warmth. Since the fronts are knitted after the back and worked top to bottom (vertically, as opposed to the horizontally we’re accustomed to in most sweaters), any customization is straightforward– just inc or dec at neck or hem edges.
