Instant Gratification

With all the new yarns coming in, I like to knit up a sample to help you imagine all that it can be.  However, this involves lots of swatching and experimenting and frogging and beginning again.

One evening when I just wanted to finish something, I decided to make these.  The yarn is an old favorite (Misti Chunky Alpaca) knit firmly into fingerless mitts.  This pair was knit on a size 7 needle for small hands, but you can easily go up to an 8 or 9, to adjust the size.  You can find the free pattern here.

So now I’m back to the new yarns.  Stay tuned to see what I came up with.
